Our family business was born from a love of the look and feel of a beautiful, well-made floor. 
 
In the early 1980s, our founder was drawn to the beautiful natural materials he encountered in South India, and passed this passion on to his children, the entire Waw team, and our customers 
 
Our strive for authentic, high-end quality is in our DNA, together with our constant search for innovative solutions that add unique value. This means extensive efforts in R&D, technology, product concepts, materials and processes, while exploring new business opportunities and furthering existing partnerships. 
 
Focusing on quality over quantity, we create and adapt specialist solutions that bring out the best in each individual customer’s environments.

Materials we use

Each material is sourced for its unique combination of aesthetics, technical performance and overall sustainability, and we carefully select suppliers and manufacturers who share our passion and respect for beautiful, high-quality materials. 

Our Indoor ranges include Wood, where we use authentic French and Mongolian oak and numerous special treatments to create distinct styles; Bamboo, with fresh, natural aesthetics, impressive durability, and sustainability; and Luxury Vinyl, where advanced technology pairs an authentic look with incredible resilience and minimal maintenance 

Our Outdoor collections for decking, cladding and fencing feature ecofriendly, highly durable Bamboo, and high-tech Composites that stand the test of time with minimal maintenance. 

Our love of beautiful materials comes with great responsibility.  

We are proud to be able to offer carefully, sustainably sourced natural materials: wood from certified, responsibly farmed forests in Europe and Siberia, and FSC certified bamboo, sustainably grown in China’s largest bamboo reservoir. We also offer FSC certified and PEFC-recycled composite decking for outdoor use. 

In our strive toward a more sustainable production, we constantly invest in technology and R&D – energy-efficient methods and innovative materials that improve product lifespans, quality and overall performance. 

Health and safety are also a top priority, and our wood, vinyl and bamboo products are Floorscore-certified. 

Last but not least, we are deeply dedicated to creating stunning, high-quality floors – because we believe that a floor that is loved and used for many years is always a more sustainable choice.
