Our own family’s tea plantation heritage has taught us the value of embracing and nurturing the rich sources given to us by nature. Forty years ago, while travelling the Asian highlands, Waw’s founder stumbled upon what was then still a hidden gem: bamboo forests, the lungs of Asia.
Since then, building our bamboo collections has always been – and continues to be – a cultural and creative journey, bordering on spiritual. Each range has unfolded in close dialogue with the architects, designers and craftsmen with whom we have worked over the years. Our goal is to leave a unique legacy: a deep respect for nature’s raw materials, and an untiring commitment to sustainability.
A sustainable, high-quality choice
While tropical hardwoods become increasingly scarce due to over-exploitation, bamboo is one of the fastest-growing renewable sources in the world, absorbing CO2 in large quantities. In addition, it is harder, stronger and more resilient, easy to maintain, and resistant to moisture, termites, dust, and mould.
Drawing on traditional craftsmanship, profound experience and advanced technology, Waw creates solid, engineered and strand woven bamboo products that deliver both in quality and sustainability.
The bamboo itself is FSC certified, harvested from the world’s largest bamboo reservoir in China. We make use of all parts of the bamboo, and our factory waste is used to generate our own power. Our mills are ISO 9001:2000 and 14001 certified. Additionally, we work with several world-renowned providers of top-quality coatings that further highlight and preserve our products.

Natural beauty, through and through
Our 360° collection harnesses all the raw beauty and sturdiness of solid bamboo, for a full-on natural feel that will have you walking barefoot as often as you can.
With its extreme resilience and minimal carbon footprint, solid bamboo is an excellent choice for those looking for beautiful, durable and affordable flooring. Our 360° ranges are made entirely of natural bamboo, from top to bottom, creating a wonderfully solid, down-to-earth feel.
In homes and light commercial environments, our 360° Block Parquet is an ideal option with its wide range of looks and applications. For heavier traffic, on top of floor heating or in air-conditioned environments, we recommend 360° Industriale for its stability.
It’s worth noting that as a natural, organic material that breathes and moves, solid bamboo works best in stable climates with more or less constant temperature/moisture levels. For more temperate climates, we recommend Engineered Bamboo.
360° Block Parquet
The warm feel of natural bamboo
With its light and fresh feel, warm touch and seamless finish, solid bamboo makes a lovely and affordable choice for homes and light commercial environments. While pretty, it is also extremely hardy, its high-density treatment allowing it to effortlessly stand up to pet claws, children’s toys and other daily wear and tear.
360° Block Parquet is available in horizontal and vertical versions, both featuring the same resilience and versatility. Horizontal gives the impression of large, solid wooden planks complete with knots and other natural irregularities, while vertical consists of narrow strips of wood for a more graphic, uniform look. Both come unfinished; once installed and sanded, their surface is sealed with an oil, lacquer or oil wax, according to your preferences.

360° Industriale
Natural bamboo with heavy-duty performance
An extremely versatile parquet, 360° Industriale adds the sleek beauty and natural strength of bamboo to environments where both aesthetics and density are key issues – for instance busy commercial areas.
360° Industriale consists of short, solid strand woven bamboo strips, bonded together in a distinctive ladder pattern. These are then glued onto the sub floor, sanded, filled and finished by the flooring installer. This special construction creates excellent stability, making 360° Industriale an ideal option over floor heating or in air-conditioned buildings.

Premium bamboo solutions for any climate
Our Engineered Plank collection explores the timeless simplicity of natural bamboo as an age-old, traditional resource, translating it into a sophisticated solution for any indoor setting – regardless of climate.
Here, the beauty, sustainability and strength of natural bamboo have been given a stabilising base of cross-constructed wood layers to minimise movement, expansion and contraction. Much less temperamental than solid bamboo flooring, engineered plank is a particularly strategic choice in shifting climates or fluctuating indoor temperatures and moisture levels.
In addition, engineered plank flooring is much easier to change, making it an ideal option on top of concrete subfloors. The bamboo layer is thick enough to refinish – although thanks to its extreme resilience, it’s unlikely you’ll ever need to. The structural integrity of our engineered collection, combined with the technical superiority of our finishes, ensures a beautiful, top-notch flooring that will last for many years to come.
Engineered Plank (Horizontal/Vertical)
A breath of fresh air
EP Horizontal/Vertical adds the light and airy feel of authentic bamboo to any home or commercial setting with a choice of two patterns. Horizontal gives the impression of long, wide planks complete with knots and other natural irregularities – ideal for those who are looking for refined elegance, but still want a touch of authenticity and texture. Vertical, on the other hand, consists of narrow strips for a more graphic, uniform look. Both are extremely durable, easily standing up to heavy wear and tear for many years.
Thanks to its cross-constructed wood layers, EP Horizontal/Vertical also provides dependable stability – even in shifting temperatures and climates – and can be installed over floor heating solutions. Wide planks with T&G profiling allow for faster, easier and more economical installation.

One of the hardest floors available, EP Strand Woven offers not only amazing durability and impressive strength but also a modern, clean style with a warm and friendly touch.
In a resource-efficient production process, bundles of bamboo fibres are saturated in resin and put under extreme pressure and heat, resulting in extreme density and hardness as well as a beautiful design. And, thanks to its cross-constructed wood layers, EP Strand Woven provides dependable stability despite shifting indoor and outdoor climates, and can even be installed on top of floor heating solutions.

Rustic, sustainable authenticity with a colonial air
With its rustic, colonial style, EP Kyoto is ideal for making a bold, beautiful statement in a larger space – or adding a decorative accent to any indoor setting. Its unique, unrefined look is created by flattening entire bamboo culms, complete with their natural knuckles. This outer part of the bamboo is also the hardest, resulting in an extremely durable, scratchproof flooring. And by making use of the entire culm, wastage is minimised – rhyming particularly well with our commitment to sustainability.
Underneath its beautiful surface, a number of cross-constructed wood layers provide reliable stability – regardless of climate variations – and even allow installations over floor heating solutions. EP Kyoto can be laid in random widths and lengths to further emphasise its character, or in a single uniform width for a smoother look.

Light, versatile solutions for any interior
Our Bamboo Panel collection allows you to further enhance your interiors with the warm freshness of Asian bamboo. With its light, elegant aesthetics – contrasted by its incredible hardness and resilience – it easily proves that bamboo is so much more than a flooring option.

With its fluid grace, strength and sustainability, bamboo veneer provides endless design and creative possibilities – allowing you to transform your interiors into an organic, holistic experience.
All of our Bamboo Veneers are multi-layered with a high-grade, closed-porous finish, and three-dimensional workability thanks to their top-quality construction. We create them with the utmost precision, slicing sheets from laminated blocks of high-quality bamboo and then pressing them onto both sides of a base material. For easy, smooth handling, each veneer strip is backed with a thin, strong cellulose fleece. This allows it to be easily pressed onto a panel, opening up for all kinds of interior design applications.
